Laptop Plugged In But Not Charging

If you also encounter this question, your Lenovo Z480 is plugged in, not charging, and at 59% battery. The same question occured everytimes when you open your laptop, how sad we will feel about it.

Here is my suggestion, hope it could be helpful.

In some cases, people just set a protective, value for the battery, like, say only charge the battery when the power is under 10%.

For your this question, could you check it out?

BTW,Which version of Z480 do you have?one version is normal Z480 adapter, the other version uses a special adapter with an enormous DC connector.
The big connector version has a mechanism which would prevent the battery from charging if the adapter connector is "defective". Sometimes you can bent the connector of the adapter to revive it, but once you release your finger, the charging process stops.
